Top 10 Populous Cities In The World

  All over the world the population is increasing quickly. By the end of 2011 the Earth will have 7 billion people who call it home. Here are some amazing facts. In 1800 the worlds population was only at 1 billion. The average life expectancy around the world is 69years old which is up 16years since 1960. In 1975 there were 3 mega cities. Mega cities are cities that have a population above 10 million. The 3 in 1975 were Tokyo, New York, and Mexico City. Now there are 21 mega cities around the world and many that are getting close to becoming mega cities. The number 7 billion, if you were to count up to that number it would take you 200 years. If you took 7 billion steps you would be able to walk around the Earth 133 times. 7 billion of us are in this together lets not ruin this place we call home.

10.  Shanghai, China - Population 16, 650, 000

Shanghai is China's most populated city. It also has one of the best and most impressive skylines of any city in the world.

Delhi's the capitol of India and one hell of a city. I have been there and depending on what parts of the city you are in you could feel like you just visited 4 different countries. The city has some gorgeous monuments and it also has it's slums. The temperature in this city can reach a boiling 47 degrees Celsius or 117 Fahrenheit.

Sao Paulo is covered in buildings. With that population and it being Brazil the number of gorgeous women must be off the charts.
